A useful bonus comparison begins with the terms, not the headline percentage. The same advertised match can have very different cash value depending on wagering, withdrawal caps, game contribution and expiry.
Put these terms side by side
| Term | What to write down |
|---|---|
| Match rate and cap | The percentage plus the maximum bonus amount |
| Minimum qualifying deposit | Whether the amount and currency match your plan |
| Wagering base | Bonus only, deposit plus bonus, or another defined balance |
| Game contribution | What share of eligible play counts towards wagering |
| Maximum bet | The limit while a bonus is active |
| Expiry | The deadline for claiming and completing conditions |
| Withdrawal cap | Any limit on convertible or withdrawable value |
Work through the arithmetic
An illustrative 100% match on a $100 deposit creates a $100 bonus, subject to a cap. If the wagering requirement were 20 times the bonus only, that would mean $2,000 of qualifying wagering. If it were 20 times deposit plus bonus, it would mean $4,000. These are examples, not an offer available on this site.
Game contribution changes the calculation. At 50% contribution, $100 of wagering counts as $50 towards the requirement. Excluded games may contribute nothing, and breaking a maximum-bet rule can have separate consequences under the actual terms.
Separate bonus money from cash
The account may display cash, bonus credit and locked winnings separately. Read which balance is spent first and what happens if you withdraw, cancel the promotion or miss its deadline. “No wagering” still requires examination of redemption, verification and caps; see our no-wagering terms guide.
Comparing larger deposits
A larger advertised cap does not by itself improve the terms. Use the same calculation at the intended amount and inspect the qualifying-payment rules. The $1,000 deposit example explains how a match cap changes the headline result.
